A dark and showery afternoon becoming brighter later but with deep stratus advancing rapidly and overdrawing from the west by sunset with strange "green" light to bring torrential rain by 2020hr. Wind: SW F5 and increasing. Temperature: +5degC and falling. Visibility: c30km. Cloud: open sky overhead and to SE but deep and featureless stratus advancing rapidly and overdrawing quickly from west. Pressure: 1000hPa and falling very quickly.
